Begin gently.
If the piece becomes wet, blot the surface gently with a clean, soft cloth and allow it to dry naturally. Do not use direct heat or rub the surface.
Avoid household cleaners, wet wipes, alcohol and products not made for the material. What suits one finish can permanently alter another.
