Serpenti Forever Shoulder Bag

Green is Bvlgari’s most underrated colour — surprising, given that malachite has been a house signature since the 1960s Serpenti watch bracelets first coiled around wrists in Rome. This emerald green calf leather shoulder bag picks up that thread and runs with it. The saturation is deep but not dark: a forest-floor green that shifts under different light, pairing naturally with the gold-toned snakehead clasp whose malachite eyes now match the leather they rest above. Where the black version of this bag conceals the clasp in silhouette, the green version draws the eye straight to the snakehead, creating a continuous visual field from leather to stone to metal.

The clasp itself is a small sculpture. Light gold-plated brass forms the serpent head, its scales articulated in black and white agate enamel, and when the magnetic jaw releases, the flap opens to reveal amethyst purple grosgrain — a high-contrast lining choice that feels intentionally Roman, like stumbling on a jewel-toned fresco inside a travertine palazzo.
