The motif, pulled from House archives, reconstructs the facade and courtyard of Dior’s historic Avenue Montaigne address — 30 Avenue Montaigne, the building that has anchored the maison since 1946 — through the visual language of black-on-white illustration. Cotton canvas forms the bag’s embroidered body, carrying the Plan de Paris motif across the front in black-and-white needlework.

The stitch density varies across the motif.
