Dior Bow

Run your palm across the surface of the Medium Dior Bow Bag, and the first thing you register is the semi-gloss lambskin. Natural grain. Supple to the point of fluidity. A finish that catches light without reflecting it. The leather is the foundation of Jonathan Anderson’s first bag design for Dior — a material chosen for its ability to hold a defined shape while still feeling soft in the hand.

The bow is the defining gesture, and it is not applied to the bag as a decorative afterthought. It is integrated into the construction at the top edge, where the lambskin gathers and folds in on itself. The leather’s tensile properties allow this fold to suggest organic construction over engineered structure — the bow emerges from the bag’s body — never stitched onto it. Viewed from the side, the silhouette tapers below the bow and widens toward the base, echoing the drape of a curtain gathered at its mounting point.

At 17.5 by 12 by 30 centimeters, the medium format sits close to the body. The removable strap enables crossbody or shoulder wear, but the bag also works as a handheld clutch — the bow then becomes a natural grip point, the lambskin warm along the palm. Inside, the suede lining offers a contrasting texture: matte, soft, registering as a subtle sensation when reaching for contents.

The gold-tone hardware on the strap attachments and the subtle Dior stitching keep the branding subdued. This is a bag organized around line and material behavior, not logos. A phone, card case, and compact essentials fit within the medium interior with structure to spare.
