The lambskin construction makes this possible. The classic Caro’s Cannage pattern is stitched into structured calfskin that holds its shape regardless of orientation. The Macrocannage on lambskin shifts with the bag’s position. Set it flat and the pattern organizes into a formal grid. Pick it up and the lambskin drapes, the diamonds distorting slightly at the fold points. The pattern moves with the bag , not remaining static on it.

At 20 by 13 by 7 centimeters, the small format means the Macrocannage diamonds occupy the full field of view.
