The Boite Chapeau traces its shape to the hat boxes Louis Vuitton built for the grand tours of the early 1900s — round, rigid, and unmistakably from the Maison’s luggage archive. This mini version keeps every trunk reference: the natural leather name tag, the Malletage-pattern lining, and a body wrapped in classic brown Monogram coated canvas.
11.9 × 13 × 6.6 cm, the mini reads like a jewel box that happens to hold a day’s essentials. A zip closure opens onto a large gusseted compartment with a card slot, sized for a card holder, keys, earphones and a lipstick.
Aged natural cowhide trim and gold-color hardware warm the canvas, while the removable, adjustable strap and single handle let it ride as a shoulder bag or a hand-carried curiosity.
